TRAINING:  Company C, 77th Training Battalion, 16th Regiment from August 1943 to July 1944 as a Lieutenant at Camp Fannin in Tyler, Texas.

SERVICE:  He was recruited from U of K- Lexington, KY.  He served in the 5th Division and was wounded in the Metz Campaign.  He retired as Captain in 1947.

He did Mechanical Construction for a living.  Us married to wife, Mary, of 60 years.  He has one daughter and 5 grandchildren and enjoys all types of sports.
