TRAINING:  Company A, 68th Training Battalion from October 1943 to March 1944 at Camp Fannin in Tyler, Texas.  He was recruited from Columbus, Georgia.

SERVICE:  He was a rifleman in the 9th Infantry Division and was wounded 3 times during his service. 

FAMILY AND HOBBIES:  He is a retired Industrial Sales Rep.  He has a wife, Florrie, of 59 years.  Between them, they have 2 daughters who are both teachers.  His hobby is woodwork.
