TRAINING: Company A, 63rd Training Battalion from April 1944 to September 1944 at Camp Fannin in Tyler, Texas.

SERVICE:   I was assigned to the 97th infantry Div. in Ca..  We were sent to ETO, where I seen active duty from Feb. till the war ended on May 08.

NOTE:  My name is John A. Fallon. I received my IRTC training at Camp Fannin. I arrived in April of 1944. I was assigned to Company A, 63rd tng. Bn. There is no mention of the 63rd Bn. on your web site. I have a company photo taken on June 14, 1944.I intend to be at the reunion on April 03 and will bring the picture with me. I am looking forward to sharing memories of my time at the camp. After 17 weeks of training, I was assigned to the 97th infantry Div. in Ca..  We were sent to ETO, where I seen active duty from Feb. till the war ended on May 08.
