My mother and sister (at that time she was 4 years old) was with dad and lived on base.  I was born in June, 1944 at Mother Francis Hospital while dad was stationed there.  I believe he was at Camp Fannin for at least 1 year and believe he got out 6-7 months after I was born.  I looked on your website to try and locate his name or photo, but he is not listed.

 

His name was Rufus Clinton Grubbs and was a Sgt. in Company C, 66th Battalion.  I have a picture of him and another guy in front of a sign and also in front of a building with the above information.  Unfortunately, no names are written on the back of the photos.
