SERVICE: He trained in Co. C, 68th Btn., 14th Regiment from August 1944 to December 1944 and was recruited from east Tennessee.  He was sent to southern France in January of 1945 in the CBI Two Campaign Star in the 70th Infantry, Div. 7 and 3rd AVM.

 

He is a retired mechanical engineer and has a wife, Mildred (deceased 4/17/03), and three wonderful children, 2 daughters and 1 son.  He has three grandchildren. and likes to play golf.
