TRAINING:
He was a
Infantry Replacement Soldier
His first
replacement assignment was on 11/08/44 with the 110th Infantry, 28th Division,
Company C, in the bloody Hurtgen Forest. He died in a cold muddy foxhole on a
battle scarred German hillside a few hundred yards southwest of the village of
Simonskall on 11/14/44.
