CORRESPONDENCE: I assume you are still keeping the roster of the old Camp Fannin trainees (those that are left). I pulled your name off the website newsletter earlier this year.We have recently moved to Temple from Star Harbor,Malakoff and are now 180 miles from Tyler,but would like to keep in touch.My good friend Fred C. Ross Jr is enrolled in the Roll of Honor. Another of my trainee friends ,Bill Burdett is still surviving but has been suffering from a serious stroke about four years ago.We were all in the group that came to Fannin for basic training in July 1943 and went on into the ASTP college program after basic.I've passed on pictures of the Camp Fannin Memorial dedication to all that I am in touch with. If you would ,please pass my new address on to whomever is keeping up the Guidon. I think I am due to pay my dues for 2005 but have misplaced some addresses in moving.Here is my current address.
