This is a picture just before my dad, Floyd
J. Tackett went into the army. He was in the 475th Air SV GRP and went to Camp
Fannin in 1945, November 13. He came out on March 12, 1947 with an Honorable
Discharge. If you know of anyone that I could get in touch with or who would
like to get in touch with me, I would be more than happy to email them. I
would also like you to find a picture of this group if at all possible. My
Dad turned 72 on April 6 of 1999 and passed away on April 12, 1999. I miss
him a lot and that's one thing time doesn't heel. If you could help me or set
me in the right direction, I really would appreciate it. Thank you in
advance.

P.S. I have a paper that says "Served with
AAF from 13 NOV TO 12 mar 47" can you tell me what "AAF" means?
